Baymont by Wyndham College Station

There are two Baymont by Wyndham locations near College Station, and the woman on the phone said I could add a night in the same room. It turned out to be a different location! Both places were clean, but the second one in Bryan/College Station had broken glass all over, a thermostat that didn't work, and neighbors yelling at each other while their dog barked all night. Free coffee didn't make up for that cold, loud, hard night. At this location, the front desk woman started out nice, then got snappy when I asked whether all the beds were the same because mine was too hard for me to sleep on. Breakfast was free, but just like some of the photos show, it was empty. There wasn't enough food for everyone or they hadn't refilled it. One worker was blasting her headphones so everyone could hear, eating breakfast, and didn't bother refilling the sausage or anything, even though breakfast hours hadn't ended. I never leave bad reviews, but this was awful. The one good thing about this location is that it's beside a frozen cocktail to-go place. Maybe the booze will help someone forget the hard, loud, cold night ahead! lol

It's okay, but not especially good. The room is fine, the staff are kind and helpful, and breakfast is good for the price. The main problem is Wi-Fi. The signal is strong in the lobby, but too weak in the room. If you need a solid internet connection in your room, this might not be a good choice.

Blessani at the front desk made the stay for me. She greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel welcome right away. Her professionalism, patience, and willingness to go the extra mile really stood out. She handled check-in quickly, answered every question, and even shared helpful recommendations that made things easier. She clearly takes pride in her work and cares about guests having a good stay. Service like hers is why I'd come back. Friendly, top-tier hospitality, highly recommend!

For our weekend trip to visit A&M, the room was decent, I felt comfortable, and I don't think we were charged too much. I only gave four stars because the room didn't have the microwave the website promised. They seemed accommodating in some ways, but breakfast, towels, and toiletries fell short. I had to ask for basics like toilet paper and shampoo, which isn't unusual, but they were stingy with what I asked for. There was body lotion available, but none in our room. For a three-night stay, with the place not seeming very busy, I expected a bit more. If you arrived near the end of breakfast, nothing was left out and they didn't make fresh coffee. There was never coffee out after breakfast.
