I've stayed here a few times, and everything is usually really nice. This last visit had two problems. The water filter wasn't working, and although we were given a bottle of water one night, I was charged $2 the next. The bigger issue came on the last day, when we were leaving for the airport and planned to rely on breakfast. On the other days, the woman on duty kept breakfast running diligently. This time the guy at the desk was glued to his phone, and the hot trays stayed empty for well over an hour. We asked whether there would be food, and he did get up, but even after an hour there was very little. When food finally appeared, it was about three scrambled eggs for all the hotel guests. Really, that guy's gotta go.

The grounds outside were well cared for, and the staff were friendly. Check-in and checkout were quick and efficient, and I slept well on a mattress I liked. The room itself was decent but could use some TLC and updating. There was a slight musty smell, though not too bad. The TV was hard to see from the couch, and I could only watch it properly from the bed or desk. The toilet lid was broken, and the toilet seemed to have a slow leak because it ran every 20 minutes or so. For the price, I felt I got less value than I expected. I was there on a business trip.

We stopped at Comfort Suites Texas Ave. in College Station, TX, on March 16, 2025, during our Spring Break drive from Jacksonville, FL to Killeen, TX with my kids. After a long day on the road, it was just what we needed. The room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable, with beds we all slept well in. It felt quiet and safe for traveling with kids, and the Wi-Fi was strong enough for them to relax with their devices while I got some much-needed rest. Check-in was quick and easy, and the friendly, welcoming front desk staff made a great first impression. Restaurants and stores nearby made it easy to grab dinner before settling in, and we had the hotel breakfast before hitting the road in the morning. It was a simple, stress-free start to the day. For a family road trip through College Station, I'd highly recommend Comfort Suites Texas Ave. It was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed.

The customer service at this location is awesome, and that's why I've booked another business stay tonight. On my first visit about a month ago, Ms. Christine was warm, welcoming, and accommodating, and took very good care of me. Before a more recent stay, I called and spoke with Ms Janet, who was friendly and handled my request without hesitation. Tonight I called and talked to Ms.Sue, who was awesome and fulfilled my request. Kudos to Ms. Christine, Ms.Janet and Ms.Sue.

I stayed one night while passing through town. The room was clean, the surroundings were nice, and the front desk was kind and friendly. They offer breakfast, but my early flight meant I couldn't try it. I had a great stay overall and would come back if I'm in the area.
