Red Roof Inn College Station

I’ve been here three nights a week for the past two months. The manager keeps the same room for me, checks that I’m getting the best rate, and makes sure the staff recognize me when I arrive. Everyone is friendly and professional. For a reasonably priced place in BCS, the Red Roof Inn is hard to beat. It’s great value compared with the other lower-cost options.

The chairs beside the beds looked comfortable in the photos, but they’re hard as a rock. With my catastrophic spine injury in 2009, I can’t sleep in a bed and use a recliner at home, so next time I’ll remember to bring my travel hammock chair. My mistake for leaving it behind. Gig 'em Aggies👍 Otherwise, the room was quiet and very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the lobby coffee was delicious. The employees were welcoming and courteous. We’ll book again because it’s an easy walk to the game day Kyle Field shuttle, which means no traffic battles or parking fees.

We got a little snack bag at check-in, which was a nice surprise. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, and the room was clean and had what we needed. It’s also handy for food and shopping.

With so many incoming guests and heavy traffic, Dulce and Poonam handled things impressively. What stood out even more was how cheerful and happy they stayed. It was refreshing, and I can’t wait to come back.
