Colonial Beach Plaza Bed & Breakfast

We’ve been staying here for six years, sometimes more than once a year, because it feels like home. Dave and Misunn are such wonderful hosts and make you feel like family. The food is amazing, and the views are lovely. Spend time with them and you might start thinking about moving to Colonial Beach. I can’t recommend this place enough.

The little pool area was such a nice place to sip wine and watch the ospreys. Misunn and Dave were wonderful hosts, and the B&B felt peaceful and relaxing even though it’s close to the beach, shops, and restaurants. We booked the carriage house on a whim and ended up having the best short vacation we’d had in years. Now I’m wondering why we’ve made so many trips all the way to the Outer Banks when Colonial Beach gave us such an amazing getaway.

The arcade room was a really fun surprise, and the inn is an easy walk from the water and local attractions. Breakfast was delicious each morning, clearly made with care, and a great way to start before exploring Colonial Beach. Dave and Misuun welcomed us so warmly that we felt at home right away. Our room was spotless, nicely decorated, and had thoughtful touches that made it comfortable. We had a wonderful stay at Colonial Beach Plaza Bed & Breakfast, and appreciated the kind hosts and the attention to detail. We can’t wait to return.

We spent the daytime swimming in the heated pool, unwinding in the cabana, and playing cornhole. The place is within walking distance of everything in town, which was handy. At night, the retro arcade kept us busy with loads of games, all free to play. Dave and Misuun were welcoming and accommodating when we arrived, and their recommendations were helpful. The B&B was kept neat, our room had good space, a private bathroom, and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast each morning was well prepared, and the coffee was really good. We’re already looking forward to coming back next year.
