Chateau du Pikes Peak, a Tuscany Retreat

The place itself made a big impression on us. We brought my dad here when he came to visit because it’s close to home, and the Chateau was beautiful, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches. Samantha and Shane were lovely to deal with and had lots of amenities available. There’s a bar, a home theater, and an outdoor patio with a fire pit and an incredible mountain view, along with a luxurious bedroom and bathroom. We’ll book here when friends come to town. It’s nicer than the hotels and other places we’ve stayed, and such a find.

Shane and Samantha were helpful and clearly care about giving guests a good stay. We loved the theater room, the peaceful atmosphere, and the fantastic view. The location worked really well for us, too. We had a great time at Chateau Du Pikes Peak.

The owners greeted us warmly, showed us around, and pointed out the thoughtful details. Their restaurant suggestions were great, and their attentive hospitality made us feel at home right away. Our suite was spotless and carefully set up. We watched a movie in the private theater, had wine beside the outdoor fireplace, and woke up to wide mountain views. It felt like a dream of a retreat. The setting is quiet and private, while still close to things to do. We took relaxed day trips to Royal Gorge, Pikes Peak, and Garden of the Gods from Chateau du Pikes Peak, just outside Colorado Springs. It was an ideal base for exploring southern Colorado and unwinding.

We’ve never stayed anywhere nicer. The rooms were clean, peaceful, and really comfortable, and Samantha and Shane were wonderful hosts. We’ll be back.
