Fairfield Inn & Suites Colorado Springs North

I had to stay here for a while after a major life event, and the staff were there for me from start to finish. Melissa, Luke, Keena, Jun, and Joyce at the front desk were wonderful and ready to help. Brandon from maintenance was constantly working to keep the floors clean and get hot breakfast ready. The staff really are working hard all the time. The room, dining areas, and common spaces were clean. There's always complimentary hot coffee and tea, whatever the time. The property is quiet, so light sleepers don't have to worry about traffic or a noisy area. Sitting by the firepit at night with Pikes Peak right there and the sunsets from the photos is a must. I'd recommend this Fairfield Inn over the other Colorado Springs locations. It's a real home away from home. Consider joining Marriot Bonvoy rewards too. The hotel and staff were great, but what a bummer: someone smashed our truck window, tore apart the interior, and stole some valuable things. There are no security cameras outside, and the police knew that too.

The room was a disaster. There was mold on the ceiling just outside the bathroom, wallpaper coming loose, detached trim, and a broken closet door. Worst of all, there was cat puke under the bed. Floor tiles throughout the place weren't attached either. It needs major work. The service and location seemed fine, but we didn't travel much or need much service, so I can't say a lot about those.

Nice room and a really pleasant stay. Joyce was so sweet, and there was bacon at breakfast 😊
