For a stay in Colorado Springs, the highway location made it easy to get across town quickly. The property was well maintained and the rooms consistently clean, and that reflects the attention G.M. Tony Zayas gives to the guest experience. Demi and Megan were especially helpful and welcoming. I'd recommend it for a convenient, friendly, professional stay. Thank you.

Demi was flexible and kind when I needed to switch rooms. I'd reserved a room and then learned there were no queen beds available. She found me a nice alternative, but it was upstairs and I would've struggled to carry all my things up. When I asked about a downstairs room, she happily changed it without any fuss. The room was very clean and smelled good, and I'm impressed by how much the place has improved since my stay last year. I returned because the staff had always been so nice and the price was affordable for what I needed. Management is doing a great job. Keep it up!

Check-in got off to a rough start because the key wouldn't work, but the front desk staff were patient, helpful, and some of the nicest people I've met. I also messed up when rebooking. Instead of making me leave and come back, they worked it out so I could pay manually and they matched my price. They did everything they could to make the stay go smoothly. If you want a really affordable place and don't need many amenities, this is definitely a good choice.

The office ladies have been so kind and helpful, and you can tell they really care about making this place better. I know it isn't fancy and it gets a bad rap, but my own experience has been great. It's been quiet, and I've never felt unsafe.

The night-shift woman was the one person who showed us compassion. She sincerely apologized and helped process the refund for the rest of our stay and the deposit. I'm grateful to her and to our friends who helped us through this nightmare, but I strongly urge anyone considering this hotel to avoid spending their money here or risking their family's safety. We were forced out with our infant despite having paid over $800. My husband, our 7-month-old baby, and I started in room 235. The TV was broken, there was no A/C, and the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke despite the no-smoking sign. The outlets sparked and popped, and the stove had no knobs and sparked dangerously. Because of that electrical hazard, we were moved to room 301, where the toilet barely flushed. There was already a plunger in the bathroom, but it didn't help, so we had to boil water in a crock pot just to flush. The stove there kept sparking too. When my husband tried to toast bread, it sparked loudly. The new maintenance worker came to inspect it, and sparks flew right in his face. That proved we weren't imagining the problem. We reported everything calmly and patiently, knowing they were understaffed. At first Taylin at the front desk seemed accommodating, even adjusting our rate when we needed to extend because our move-in was delayed. But after being told yet again to change rooms, moving all our belongings with a baby felt unreasonable. When I went down to ask where they wanted us to go, Taylin acted like she'd never helped me and said she had no other rooms, then asked why we didn't just leave since we were the only ones complaining. I explained we'd paid $800 already and our car was in the shop. She suggested we might be tampering with the electricity. That was insulting and completely unprofessional. Taylin also spent much of her time outside smoking with friends while on the clock instead of helping guests. Toni, the general manager, brushed us off too, even though she'd previously thanked us for reporting issues so they could fix them instead of writing a bad review. The situation was beyond unacceptable.
