Hyatt House Colorado Springs Airport Hotel

I travel a lot for work, so being this pleased with a stay says plenty. The hotel was extremely clean, the rooms were terrific, and the staff were wonderful, friendly, and accommodating. I’ll stay here whenever I come back. Thanks again to the staff for being their awesome selves!

I have a sensitive nose and notice every smell, but this is one of the first hotels that didn’t bother me at all. Even some expensive, classy places have had a hint of a smell, while this one felt pure and clean. The rooms are really nice and thoroughly cleaned. The woman at the front desk is sweeter than pie, and they offer breakfast and a nice pool. Absolutely worth a visit!

The room was clean and breakfast was good, but the way Mary, the older woman at the front desk, treated us was completely unacceptable. We arrived around 10 p.m. after driving more than 13 hours. She was rude and dismissive to my family, though just beforehand she’d been friendly and chatty with two white male guests. The difference was obvious and uncomfortable. We are Hispanic. Patrick was polite, helpful, and the only staff member who made us feel welcome. At checkout, we encountered Mary again. She glared at my three-year-old while he quietly played with toy trucks. I waited at the desk while she seemed busy, then she finally looked at me and rudely asked, “Do you need something?” I was clearly there to check out. I was told other people had complained about her too. If you want more customers, I suggest not having her at the front desk. Horrible experience.

The overnight front desk guy was especially helpful and friendly. I stayed five nights and had a great time overall, with clean rooms and a decent breakfast. The only thing I’d change is the shower pressure, which could be a little stronger, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. I’d stay again.
