Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fountain/Fort Carson

The people working here are the real highlight. They’re lovely, and it’s clear from the way they treat guests that they care about the hotel and the people who stay there. The free breakfast was very good by hotel standards, with juicy eggs and sausage, waffles, fruit, yogurt, cereal, and bagels, plus coffee and tea available all day. The rooms are quiet, roomy, clean, and feel new and well kept. Fort Carson’s south gate is less than a five-minute drive, so it’s a fantastic place to stay if you’re coming in for training. Thanks for looking after me so kindly over the past few weeks. I’ll stay here again if I return to Carson.

Roberta was wonderful, and the two other staff members, a man and a woman whose names I didn’t get, were just as nice. The place was spotless, the team was friendly and fun, and they went out of their way to accommodate us. Breakfast had lots of options, and they’ll even make different things if you ask. For the questions I had while booking, it’s three minutes to Fort Carson gate 20, it’s incredibly clean, and it’s an amazing value with a great group of people and a great hotel.

The breakfast spread was far more than I expected: muffins, bagels, toast, biscuits and gravy, waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, fruit, juice, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, fruit-infused iced water, and plenty of condiments. Everything was fresh and hot, and the woman looking after breakfast was kind. The room was spotless and smelled nice. I liked the LVP-style flooring instead of carpet, and the bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, body wash, makeup remover wipes, and hand soap. We brought our dog, and the room near the side entrance made getting in and out easy without disturbing guests in the lobby. There was a good-sized grassy area with poop bags and a trash can right outside. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice, and the hotel looked clean and updated. I’ll recommend it and stay again.

Roberta was welcoming when my daughter and I checked in and explained what we needed to know. The room was spacious, especially the bathroom, and the beds were comfortable. The pillows were so good we wanted to take them home, and we stayed cool through the nights. Breakfast had more than waffles: fluffy scrambled eggs, sausage links, fruit, yogurt, juice, and coffee. My daughter has celiac disease, so it’s hard to find breakfast we can both eat, and this gave us good options. We were in town for my granddaughter’s 21st birthday, and the motel was about eight minutes from her. We had a fun, comfortable stay, and this would be our first choice if we come back to the springs. Thanks!
