Modern Motel

The location is the only decent thing about this place, and it definitely wasn’t worth the money. My room had no heat on a 30-degree night. They brought two space heaters that didn’t work, then eventually found a small one, but the room was still lukewarm at best. It was a bit dirty behind things, and 30 minutes before checkout they were banging on the door saying I had to leave. Staff were rude and disrespectful. There was noise and drug traffic all night. I would not recommend this place at all.

I got back in the car without even sitting on the bed. The rooms were disgusting, and the place seems to function as a temporary shelter for groups of people experiencing homelessness who ask for money. If that doesn't bother you, fine, but I couldn't stay. I used their old toilet, then drove on to Denver. Spend the extra $20 and go to the Antlers. It was that bad.

The room was quiet, comfortable, and in nearly new condition. There's a nice outdoor spot for sitting and grilling, plus a convenience store across the street. Downtown is easy to reach on foot, with plenty of places to eat and drink just 1-3 blocks away. A real hidden gem.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and nice, and I didn't dislike my stay. But the location felt really bad, and I wouldn't call this a safe place for families. Early one morning there was banging from the room above for literal hours, right up until I left. It was probably people on drugs, but I can't be sure.
