They claim to be pet friendly, but that wasn’t our experience. When we checked the room, we had 30 minutes to cancel if we didn’t like it. The room was bad, and we couldn’t have our two Labradors there unless we paid a fee for each dog. We were told they couldn’t bark or make noise or we’d be kicked out and lose the room money. After we canceled, the hotel told us to call Experian to get our money back, even though the hotel had charged us there. That makes no sense. The rooms and service were very bad. Please don’t stay here.

We were busy out on adventures and barely spent time here. It did the job, no frills. The room was big and had a fridge, TV, and microwave. It was clean but dated, with indoor stairs, and the bed was hard. If you drink coffee, you need to get up early to grab it from the breakfast area.

The front desk staff were professional and helpful, but cleaning was mediocre and the rooms are in poor shape. The owner doesn’t seem to take pride in the property. It badly needs renovation. I wouldn’t recommend it.

About an hour after we checked in, I found a bed bug in my bed. The front desk refused to move me or offer any refund or discount. Eventually the man offered to call someone with a reservation that night who hadn’t arrived, and when that person didn’t answer, gave us a key to their room. We moved all our things, only to find the AC didn’t work. It was a heatwave, around 90 degrees outside, and the room was unbearably hot. We went back to the original room despite the bed bugs, hoping to sleep. The next day I woke with huge bites on my face and arms. They also charged $40 more than the Expedia price. I’ve stayed in a lot of cheap, run-down hotels, but this was easily my worst stay. I’d sooner sleep outside on the sidewalk than return.
