The kitchenette in our room came in really handy, and the place was clean. Breakfast had a good range of choices, including healthier ones. The pillows sank completely under your head, though, and the fan in the room was a bit loud when we needed it. Still, it was a good option for being near restaurants and local attractions.

We were given a nice upgrade to a two-bedroom room, and the person at the front desk was very welcoming. It’s a great base for sightseeing around Colorado Springs, and I’d stay here again. A larger sign showing where the property is would help.

The full kitchen had nearly all the utensils we needed, and the closet was easy to use. Breakfast had a lot of options, though I wish there’d been espresso. The TV and cable setup was hard to figure out. My sister was kept awake by people walking overhead all night, while I slept fine, so I do wonder whether noise carries easily between rooms.

I’m not happy with this stay. There was dust all through the air filters, the closet doors weren’t even bolted in, and the dishwasher hadn’t been emptied. With no visible signs, it was hard to tell if this was a Motel 6.

The room had a fishy smell, and the TV didn’t work. We later realized the window had been left open: we only noticed when we came back after being out for two hours. I assume housekeeping opened it because of the odor. There was yellow mold in the shower corners, so the room didn’t feel clean. It is close to Garden of The Gods, though, and could be an option if you’re looking for a cheaper Marriott hotel near the park.
