My mom and I spent three weeks here. The staff were helpful and friendly, the place was clean and affordable, and I felt safe. Other guests were friendly or kept to themselves. We had one small issue with the doors. They were very heavy and hard to open, making it difficult to get in and out alone with a walker or cane, let alone in a wheelchair. That's a problem for a place with ADA rooms.

The rooms and hotel looked new and were clean. Service was great, especially Joyce, who was cheerful, super friendly, and helpful, and the owner/manager was great too. There are restaurants within walking distance, which was nice. We needed a cheap three-night stay for six people until our Airbnb was ready, so in the end you get what you pay for. The kitchenette and fridge were handy, but there was no dish rag, soap, or any dishes. With four young kids, we needed the kitchen, and I shouldn't have had to buy pots, pans, and utensils for such a short stay. Housekeeping only came every two weeks, so I used a bathroom towel to clean the floors after meals and snacks. I guess I should have checked the amenities more carefully, but there really wasn't anything in the room to make the stay easier. The TV and remote never worked right, even though a nice maintenance guy tried to fix them. Also, while my husband was at work, it was tough not having a car. The hotel sits in a parking lot, with no parks nearby to walk to.

After 38 years in the telecom industry and plenty of travel, I’ve never come across people as kind, generous, welcoming, and helpful as Joyce, Soyer, and David. I grew up on a dairy farm, and the way they treated me made me feel at home, like part of the family. I’m a 67-year-old senior who had a horrible experience with medical care locally, and they supported me in every way they could. I’m so impressed with them. A big thank you to all three! WoodSprings corporate office, please listen carefully to Joyce. She knows what she’s doing.

The location is really nice, and the staff are kind and welcoming, but this hasn’t been one of my better long-term hotel stays. It’s not the worst, but it’s far from the best. The elevator is extremely slow, and the rooms have no soundproofing. The children in the room above me stomp around all day as if it’s a playground. I asked the front desk to call and request that they quiet down, but it made no difference. I came here to rest and sleep, and it’s ridiculous having to hear all that overhead. Anyone building hotels should know what it’s like to stay in one or live in an apartment and install better soundproofing. Getting around with a wheelchair is a struggle too. To reach the rooms from outside, you have to go through two doors to enter the building, then another to get to the elevator. I’m a single mom pushing my child in her wheelchair, so opening three doors to get her inside is really difficult. There’s just one door at the back that leads straight to the elevator, but no accessible parking spaces or ramp back there, only a big curb. That’s a barrier. People with disabilities stay here too, including my child and me, and we’re using hotels as a temporary place to live. The polyester sheets keep slipping off the plastic mattress protectors. I’ve had to put the sheet back on about 15 times in one day. Polyester feels like plastic, gets hot, and is just gross.

We couldn’t sleep because the walls are insanely thin. There was vacuuming upstairs from 6 pm to midnight, doors kept slamming, and the people staying there were so loud. We could smell everyone’s food, weed, and cigarettes coming into the rooms. There’s also no way to block all the light coming through the window at night. I’d give the room two stars only because it has a kitchen, even though there are no supplies, and the bed isn’t the worst one you could find in a cheap hotel.
