Bexley Bed and Breakfast

We’ve been coming here for a long time, but the service has fallen from five stars to two since the original owners sold. Texting and communication were good, though. The AC wasn’t working when we arrived and should have been on; they fixed it the next day. Breakfast was a burnt Jimmy Dean sandwich heated in foil, with fruit and options like Swiss Miss. I’ve never seen that offered at another establishment. The only coffee was Nespresso foam coffee, and the machine worked so poorly we had to press the buttons four times for one cup.

The location makes this bed and breakfast especially convenient for anyone visiting Capital University. Bexley’s shops, restaurants and entertainment are also close enough to walk to. The rooms are modern and clean, and the shared spaces feel cozy and welcoming. Outstanding place, highly recommend.

We’ve stayed here for years and have always enjoyed it. The continental breakfast wasn’t as good on our latest visit, but we figured it might be because it was the holidays and perhaps their regular breakfast person was away.

The heated bathroom floor and towel rack were especially welcome on the cold day and night we visited, and all the facilities and our room were top-notch. We were in town overnight for a concert at the Columbus School for Girls, which was an easy walk away, as were some good restaurants. The EV chargers were convenient too. What a lovely place, and we’ll definitely come back when we’re in the Columbus area.
