The rooms are nice, the service is good, and breakfast has a good variety. This is a great option when you need to stay in Columbus. Weekend rates aren't great, especially if you book the same day. Booking ahead might get you a better price.

It was quiet, everyone was really nice, and I had no problems with the area despite what some reviews say about safety. The breakfast was okay, and I'd highly recommend making waffles with the cinnamon roll batter. I really enjoyed the stay and would come back. This isn't the nicest hotel I've stayed in: the tub caulking had turned a little brown and some doors need repairs. But it was clean. I'd come from a hotel costing over $200 down the road where there was an active bedbug infestation. They knew about it and still tried to put me in the hot zone. This hotel had no such problem. I inspected the room and took the bedding apart.

My stay at Comfort Suites Columbus Expo Center went really well. A reservation mistake through Booking.com came up, but the receptionist handled it smoothly and was professional, helpful, and understanding. The room was comfortable and clean, the service excellent, and the location convenient. I appreciated how easily the issue got resolved, and I'd stay here again.

After an hour in the lobby, we gave up and left. I booked a different hotel through my usual site, Booking.com, and it went through perfectly. The better hotel was six minutes away, and we were in and out of its lobby in under four minutes. I'd first booked through Trivago. The email said they were waiting for the hotel's confirmation, but when we arrived there was no booking, then an email came saying, "Booking failed." I've never had that happen before. Reception wasn't kind, pleasant, or helpful, and booking in person would have cost $30 more. I tried again through Briek, but the date had defaulted to two days later and I hadn't noticed. That reservation did appear, but neither reception nor the booking company could edit it.
