The hallway smelled clean, and the room was nice and quiet at night. I haven’t seen any bugs either. The woman at the front desk was nice and seemed really busy trying to keep every customer happy. Our first night was great, and I’d book here again if I needed to.

The staff are really nice, and I like having a bench outside to sit on at night. The kitchen faucet works, and the laundry machines have been fixed and are working fine now. Just keep an eye on your clothes while they wash. The second time I used the machine, I found its lid open and worried someone had done something, but my clothes were okay. The location is nice, though traffic noise makes it hard for me to sleep sometimes. That seems worse after I watch a scary movie, lol. I’ve had a few jump scares here, too. There aren’t many roaches, but I’ve seen some, so I’d bring Raid spray if they bother you.

I’m a disabled Army vet with PTSD, and this is the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. The room was dim, and several fixtures were missing bulbs. The light over the door flickered, but when I asked for a replacement, they said they had none and didn’t know when more would arrive. I spent $35 replacing bulbs myself, including for the cooktop light and reading light. There’s no room cleaning, towels, or fresh bedding provided. After I called the police once about a personal matter, I was threatened with eviction unless I told Holle exactly why I’d called. The officer thought it was outrageous and offered to be a witness if I sued. The noise is awful. Even though quiet hours start at 10 p.m., staff come to rooms during the day to tell people to be quieter, which leads to confrontations, then eviction threats over those confrontations. I’m writing at 2:30 a.m. because the people next door stomp and slam all night, then sleep most of the day. They also blast a surround sound system with a subwoofer whenever they’re awake. Since it got cold, the building smells like an ashtray mixed with a Grateful Dead concert, despite being advertised as smoke free. They threaten eviction for smoking too close to the outside, but the smell makes it seem like smoking in rooms is allowed. This may be cheaper, but there are plenty of reasons. It’s not a place I’d recommend for a couple of days, and I’ll never stay at an Intown Suites again.

The rooms could use a lot of work. They’re old, need paint and new appliances, and the carpets are dated. I can’t say whether every room is like that. The washing machines are old too and keep breaking down. Corporate should replace them. There are roaches, though I’ve stayed in worse places and we managed. At least we had no bed bugs, so we kept all our belongings. With people constantly coming and going, it can be stressful, but the staff make the place feel like home. The managers are both kind. The woman who handles the emergency line at night was especially helpful, though I’ve forgotten her name, and she seems busy during the day too. The GM is the same way. About a year ago, management was terrible: I got locked out, then waited an hour and a half for someone to let me in and reset my key. This time I had to call at 1 a.m. for a reset, and the woman came down within 15 minutes of answering. She was professional and kind, even though she was clearly tired and I’d woken her. I appreciated that, and apologized. We had a good stay. If I need to come back, I wouldn’t hesitate. Thanks to both women in the office. They’re personable and get things done.

We had to use the bathroom across the hall for several days after our toilet clogged. On Tuesday 12/30/25, my husband told Holly, the manager, that our plunger hadn’t worked. She gave him a heavier one to try, but that didn’t help either. She said she’d call someone the next day and gave us a key to the room across the hall so we could use its bathroom. We didn’t know that taking the key card went against policy. The next day, my husband and I were at work, and my mother was watching the kids. I called to ask when the repair person would come, since we’d be home after the office closed. Holly came by and tried plunging the toilet herself, but it still wouldn’t clear. She said the holidays meant no one could come until Friday and reactivated the key card through then. It was inconvenient, especially with my 4-year-old, who understands when he needs the bathroom but couldn’t manage going across the hall alone. On Friday, when we went to pay again, Norma was back from vacation. Alyssa, a kind staff member, told me just before my husband paid that Holly shouldn’t have given us another room key and that they had a snake on the property and could have fixed the clog right away. Norma discounted that week’s room rate for the inconvenience. I appreciate Norma and Alyssa’s help and efficiency. This isn’t the first problem we’ve had with Holly, and she needs retraining or to be removed. Thankfully, this didn’t cost us another $250.
