Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Houston Conroe/Woodlands

The shower head was wearing out, and the breakfast eggs were cold. Aside from those small issues, it’s a good hotel, and the location worked well for me. The staff were welcoming, housekeeping did a really thorough job, and the rooms were quiet and comfortable. I’d stay again.

The location is good, and the complimentary coffee available throughout the day tastes great. Breakfast could have been better, though it could have been worse. I’d recommend the hotel and its location. The county should add a crosswalk between the hotel and the shopping center across the street. It would make things safer for guests. Thank you.

I’ve stayed regularly at Fairfield by Marriott Houston Conroe Near The Woodlands, booking it several times for personal trips and company needs. After this, I won’t book it again for myself, my company, or our employees. I checked out on May 11, 2026, then realized later that evening I’d left my iPad charger in Room 424. I returned around 9:30 PM. The room hadn’t been reassigned, so I expected a quick lost-and-found check. Instead, I was told housekeeping controls the locked lost-and-found box and keeps an undefined schedule. The front desk employee, Roxxana, had been instructed not to leave reception, and nobody could check the room or get into the box while I waited. I stood in the lobby until after 10:20 PM, waiting for someone who might be able to retrieve a basic charger from an unoccupied room. The desk employee was polite, but the process was absurdly inefficient and far from basic guest service. A returning customer shouldn’t be left helpless over something so minor. This isn’t a customer-first operation.

Our room was clean, and the staff were friendly. Still, it was a little hard to find and get to. The only entrance sits at another hotel’s entrance near an intersection. The room, 401, was about the size of a bedroom in a starter apartment, smaller than many hotel rooms. A crack ran the width of the room, making me wonder if the bed in 501 was about to come down on us. I couldn’t tell if the hotel was old and not updated, or new with a retro look.
