The innkeepers are great and really care about their guests. I stayed in both Charlie and Foxtrot and can recommend either one. The wall tents are roomy and well set up, with a fireplace, porch, comfortable bed, and grill. When I don't have time to gather gear and go backpacking, this is a fun way to glamp. It's a short walk to the beach, where I found lots of sand dollars and other things to comb for. I bring a 2.5 gallon water jug and a butane stove for anything I can't cook on the grill, and there are good amenities nearby. Ocean Shores is a quick trip, with plenty of coastal access too. You can rough it here without wearing out your heels.

I loved trying this kind of stay for the first time. The huge tent had a luxurious bed, handy lighting, and a wood-burning stove. The linens were clean and brand-new, and the terrace had a grill, comfortable chairs, and tables, all in good working order. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and laid out, and the ocean felt wild and untamed, just a three-minute walk away. I also really enjoyed meeting the host. He looked tough enough that I could imagine him catching sharks in the open ocean with his bare hands, but he was also welcoming, friendly, and patient. Thanks for an amazing stay! 10/10, highly recommend.

The staff were terrific, and I liked having different kinds of lodging to choose from, including glamping, tiny houses, and RVs. We came for razor clamming at Copalis beach, and the location was handy: a five-minute walk to the beach and a rental clam gun available in their shop. Our tiny home was adorable and modern, with good water pressure, hot water, and comfortable beds. There was also a washing station for dogs and for clams and sand. A few things could be improved: the loft bed is accessed by a ladder that blocks the doorway, which seems like a fire hazard, and more hooks would help with towels, bags, and jackets. The large pot wasn't much use for boiling water, since there was no kettle or small pot. A rug or bean bag chair would make the sitting area more comfortable. I enjoyed the stay.

The tiny home we rented was filthy and should not be available until major repairs and changes are made. It clearly hadn't been cleaned: used washcloths were left on the soap dispensers, the floors were dirty, and the sheets smelled like they hadn't been washed in months. Bug traps were scattered across the bottom floor. The shower had the worst water pressure I've ever experienced and barely got warm, and there was rotting wood in several places downstairs along with generally poor construction. We chose the place after reading reviews and thought a tiny home would suit us, but after this stay I'd warn other travelers away. The office being closed in the off season was something I could forgive, but dirty sheets and a lack of basic hot water are unacceptable. I can't speak to the motel or tents. The property itself is in a decent spot within walking distance of the beach, with tiny homes, tents, and a motel. We visited in April. The office was shut, and after we looked inside and read the sign, someone came over from the house across from it. We asked about the complimentary beer from a text I'd received that morning, and he said it was an old message they needed to change, which was odd given the timing.

The king studio was even nicer than it looked in the photos, a lovely surprise. We spent three nights enjoying how quiet and peaceful the off season was. Cell reception and wifi were spotty, so we unplugged and spent time together. The camp host was friendly and accommodating, and we'll definitely stay again.
