Candlewood Suites Coralville Iowa City

The complimentary breakfast was fresh, well organized, and had plenty of variety for starting the day. We also found the beds comfortable, the staff welcoming and ready to help, and the atmosphere quiet enough to unwind after a long day. Our family stayed at candle wood suites, and the rooms were spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully laid out for traveling together, with modern amenities. We had a truly exceptional visit. The hotel exceeded our expectations and felt comfortable and family friendly. I'd highly recommend it to people traveling with loved ones or on their own.

Breakfast was delicious, and service was quick and professional. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the room was spotless and beautifully designed, and the whole place felt relaxing. From arrival to checkout, everything went perfectly. You can see the care they put into making guests feel special. I couldn't have asked for a better stay, and I'll definitely come back!

This is a shame, because the property and amenities are great: it's a new, modern hotel with a good breakfast and free parking. The room itself had good amenities too, but it wasn't cleaned once during my stay of over two weeks. They say rooms are cleaned once a week, and I'd be fine with that if they'd followed through, especially after I asked the front desk twice. There was absolutely no room cleaning.

Other than that, it wasn't horrible. But in my new hotel's room I saw two mice scurrying across the sink on the first night, and there were pee dribbles in front of the toilet that weren't mine. The room smelled like Indian cuisine. Be prepared to know Spanish if you want to communicate with the other guests.
