Oakwood At Ventana Hills

Costco, shopping centers, and other essentials are close by, and nothing is more than a 20-minute drive. I've been in an upper-floor apartment here for a year, and it's been a really good experience. The area feels safe, the community is friendly, and I haven't had any issues. Maintenance is punctual and does top-notch work. I'd recommend living here.

The place doesn't feel safe, quiet, or like home. Management keeps emailing about thefts, people staying at the pool after closing, and kids making noise late at night. The gates are always malfunctioning, and cars sometimes park right in front of my door, leaving me to park far away. I'm counting the days until the lease ends, if I can stick it out that long. The apartment wasn't ready when I moved in. It was filthy: soap scum in the showers, a gross valet trash can, and dining room blinds that were black and sticky. The bathroom sink drain was nasty, the cold water doesn't run, and the bedroom blinds are broken. I wiped the blinds a few times and the rag shows how dirty they were. There's a big gap under the door that lets bugs in, plus a broken door stopper, a broken dryer handle, a missing lightbulb, and an exhaust fan that doesn't work. The appliances are ancient, and there are paint stains and cracks. I filed maintenance requests weeks ago, but nothing's been fixed. I gave up and told them to forget it because they never come anyway. The pictures show only some of the problems. All of this should have been fixed before the unit was listed for rent.

Jessica made the whole move go smoothly and was especially helpful throughout the process. Our townhouse had been renewed and properly cleaned before we arrived. The maintenance team quickly took care of a few small repairs, and everyone on staff was kind. The property is tidy and peaceful. We just moved to Ventana Hills, and so far we're very happy with the experience.
