The room was clean, the bed was comfy, the service staff were nice, there were a decent number of appliances, and the TV worked well. But plenty went wrong too. The heater wouldn't go above 72 degrees, the pool wasn't warm and turned my hair green, and breakfast wasn't stocked when we came down. The first floor ice machine was out of order. The soda machine wouldn't take a $5 bill even though it said it should, and a can of Pepsi cost $2 when I thought it should be 50 cents. Someone kept knocking or banging on our wall at 8 AM and woke me up when I wanted to sleep in. Also, don't go into the towel room. A guest offered to help me find towels, then walked out before me. That was rude.

The hotel looked beautiful throughout, from the lobby and halls to the rooms. Jay at the front desk was especially friendly and courteous, and gave us great customer service. We'll stay here again when we're traveling nearby.

There was a musty smell throughout the place, and wallpaper was peeling around the building. In room 218, water damage was visible on the ceiling by the outer wall. The tub had mold along the caulk and wouldn't drain properly. The place needs updates.

We'd stay here again apart from a couple of problems. The room was clean, but the shower had no hot water. Staff already knew about it and put us in that room without telling us. Breakfast wasn't kept stocked either, so we had to ask for items to be replenished.

I've stayed at this motel in Corbin KY many times and have always gotten great customer service. The manager is very nice and remembers many returning guests by name. I've had no trouble getting a good night's rest here. It's a reasonably priced place to relax or catch a nap on a trip, so stop by and give it a try. You'll like your stay!!!
