The employees were welcoming, and the room was clean in this new, five-month-old hotel. The shower wasn't slippery, the toilet height worked well, and there were enough grab bars by the toilet and in the bathroom. Even the tub felt safe without a mat. I prefer a tub to a roll-in shower because water can spread across the floor and become risky for someone like me with balance issues. Tubs can be narrow for my clunky feet, and the sides can be hard to climb over, so grab bars matter. I don't need a roll-in shower. As a tall person with bad knees, I'd rather have a higher bed, since getting up from a low one is difficult. I know bed height can be a point of disagreement, especially for wheelchair users and shorter people who may find high beds difficult. It seems to me that people who don't need a roll-in shower may not need a low bed either. Still, the bed wasn't bad enough to keep me away. Friendly, helpful staff and a clean room matter more to me, so I'd probably return.

The roomy parking lot handled our truck and trailer easily, and the hotel is near the highway without much traffic noise. Staff were friendly and helpful in the brand-new building. Breakfast had a good range of choices, especially the ham and cheese egg sandwich, and I liked having a water refill station. We'd come back. The KFC museum was neat too, like stepping back in time.

The staff were warm and accommodating, and both the indoor and outdoor spaces were clean and inviting. We found the beds comfortable enough that getting up was hard, and there was plenty of food variety with tasty options. The hotel was brand new, with that fresh feel as soon as I walked in. I had a delightful stay at this Kentucky hotel, just past Tennessee, and would highly recommend it.

We were passing through on I75 and stayed the night. I accidentally booked the wrong date online, but they sorted it out for me. It's a new hotel with a combined town/Fairfield property, and the rooms were clean and nice. The Corbin arena, where events are held, is right next door. I'd look to stay here again.
