We stayed in the Canterbury room after a day at Storm King Art Center, and it was spacious, elegant, and comfortable. Breakfast on the patio was a treat, especially the blueberry pancakes on a cool summer morning. The inn itself is a beautifully kept 18th-19th century home, full of period character but still welcoming and quiet. Kate was warm and helpful with local suggestions, and Roy, the resident dog, added to the easygoing feel. It’s well placed for Storm King and the Hudson Valley. My wife and I are already hoping to come back.

After a long day on the road, we picked up pizza nearby and spent the evening in Adirondack chairs on the lawn with wine and a sunset. We only stayed one night, but wished we had planned for longer. The grounds and house are lovely, and the manager welcomed us warmly. Our room was spotless and nicely decorated, with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was made to order and excellent, and we could eat out on the patio. This historic place feels well cared for, and we’d happily return.

We had a great weekend at Cromwell. The staff were lovely, and we enjoyed breakfast each morning. There’s a beautiful estate to wander around, plus bocce to play and Jones Farm right next door. A great Hudson Valley inn.

Maryna made our winter weekend feel special. She was kind, gracious, and quick to respond, and breakfast started with a generous continental spread before she offered to make whatever we wanted, from bacon and waffles to omelettes. My young son and I also loved the inn’s shared spaces, games, and dining area. Our room had a huge jacuzzi tub and a lovely fireplace, with a duraflame log provided. The mini bar even had small bottles of different wines and bubbly. It’s a quiet, cozy spot that feels tucked away, though town is only a short drive, with restaurants and places like Good Books to visit.

We came for our daughter’s interview at West Point and arrived quite late. Vadym stayed on to get us settled, and Kate made sure Sarah had plenty of breakfast before the interview. The staff and owners made the stay feel extra special. The manor is beautiful, and the scenic drive there was a pleasure. I slept incredibly well, thanks to the comfortable bed and pillows, and woke up refreshed. It’s one of the most charming inns I’ve stayed at. We hope to stay whenever we visit the point.
