Holiday Inn Express & Suites Corona by IHG

Betty and her team are amazing, and easily the best IHG staff on the West Coast. We're working nights and use this location as our central hub. Gavin and Johnny go above and beyond to make sure we have what we need and can get good rest. Maria and the kitchen ladies put in extra effort to give us a great breakfast to start the day. It feels like a family environment here, and we feel welcome. Thanks, Betty, for making us feel at home.

The bed was the best I've had at any hotel, and we slept really well. A few small things bugged me: I use Dove soap at home, and the body wash smelled different, so I'm not sure it was really Dove or maybe cheap hand soap. The trash liners were folded in the cans instead of ready to use, and the AC smelled a bit mildewy. Breakfast was what you'd expect, but the room layout made it hard to get around.

We were very pleased with our one-night stay at this Holiday Inn Express in Orange County. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional, and service was excellent. The central location made it easy to get around to everything we needed. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the stay went smoothly. We'd happily return.

I wouldn't come back here, especially with so many other options nearby. We stay in the area often. On our first night we arrived late and were told breakfast hours, but nobody mentioned that rooms are only serviced every three days. We left early and got back at 6:30 p.m. to find no fresh towels or housekeeping. The front desk man first said they were full and management prioritized rooms for arriving guests over refreshing occupied rooms. Then he said we wouldn't have gotten service anyway because they only turn rooms every three days. Apparently guests who'd been there three days were missed too, with ownership aware. I asked why this wasn't explained at check-in. He said it was in the key sleeve by the breakfast-hours sticker. I asked why he'd mentioned breakfast but not housekeeping, and he had no answer. I also pointed out we hadn't put out the door hanger asking them to skip the room for 500 points. He told me I should have read the key holder. He never offered fresh towels, even though I'd said we'd put ours on the floor after using them. We went to the pool and empty hot tub, but there were no towels. I had to go back in and ask, then wait while he got some from the laundry. When we finally tried the hot tub, the chlorine was so strong we couldn't sit in it. With the bubbles on, it was overwhelming, so I had to sit on the edge. Happy Valentine's Day. This hotel is not somewhere I'd stay.
