Cherokee Lodge

We came to San Diego for our son's football game and were glad to find this place. Coronado has a small-town feel and is a little off the beaten path, with a lovely wide beach and lots of good restaurants and bars. Our accommodations were just what we needed, quiet, safe, clean, and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

I've stayed here twice already and plan to come back. It's an affordable, budget-friendly bed and breakfast with a retro style, quiet rooms, simple amenities, and easy self check-in. I could walk to everything I needed on Coronado, and they were very helpful with my requests.

We stayed in room 6, with a king bed and en suite bathroom, in a quiet, convenient spot about a ten-minute walk from the beach. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and we appreciated our stay. The room is spacious and nice, but the bed and pillows were uncomfortable for both of us. If you're tall or bigger, I'd skip this room, since the bathroom and shower are very narrow and oddly shaped. Breakfast, bottled water, and cookies were all great.

Breakfast is included, and they put out cookies in the afternoon. The location is hard to beat, the rooms are comfortable, and the staff are friendly. The value is amazing. I can't say enough about this B & B, and it's the only place I'll stay on Coronado Island.
