Motel 6 Corpus Christi, TX - Northwest

After nine days here, I know I won't ever return. There was basically no maid service, and the WiFi was down half the time. Then they tried to keep my deposit, saying stains on the sheets were property damage. I had to call the police just to get my money back. This stay wasn't worth the hassle at all.

I paid a $50 deposit for room damage, which I understand, and stayed two days. The room was clean, though a little smelly, but the towels were yellow and stained when I got there. At checkout they inspected for damage, and when I came back from waiting in my car, the front desk woman pointed at me with an attitude and said I wasn't getting my deposit back. She claimed the towel stains wouldn't come out. Those towels were already stained, so that's not on me. I'll never book here again. They're scamming people.

The place needs serious maintenance, and the rooms look very outdated. The sheets were dingy, and I had to take out my own trash and change the sheets myself. The front desk woman was rude and unwelcoming, too. They still charge a $50 deposit despite having no mini fridge, microwave, or coffee maker, nothing that seemed worth requiring a deposit. Never again.

The bed was worn out and old, and I had the worst sleep of my life. When I asked to switch beds or move rooms, I was told nothing else was available. There's no mini fridge or microwave, either. I paid for a week and asked for a refund, but the partial amount offered was unfair. The desk clerk showed no sympathy for my discomfort and offered nothing to make it right.
