There were stains on the sheets and towels, and we spotted two roaches, one on the mirror and one on the nightstand. We told the front desk, but the agent seemed unconcerned and suggested we should have read previous guest reviews before staying. She offered a discounted rate for a future visit. I told her there wouldn't be another visit.

Personally, I've always had a pleasant, professional experience here. The staff and cleaning crew seem alert and suspicious, but they're polite and respond positively whenever I need something. I've heard stories about how bad things can get at a number of hotels.

The hot tub didn't work, and people were smoking meth in the parking lot. It felt like there was no security. The room was infested with roaches, including baby roaches, and they refused to help with a refund unless it was requested “within 5 minutes.” I called the help number, but the “sales manager” Carol mark went to voicemail. We decided to leave for the night, and as we were heading out, she called and asked, “it's past midnight what do you want.” I explained what was happening, and she laughed at us and was completely rude. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a hotel or anything. I'd recommend spending an extra $20 or so to stay somewhere else, away from the roaches and the ridicule when asking for a refund because the room isn't up to code.

We had a peaceful, quiet stay, and the rooms were moderately clean for the price. The amenities were simple, and the only real disappointment was the hot tub. I love hot tubs, but this one never got hot and its start-up dial didn't work. Other than that, all was well.
