The online pictures aren't up to date, so be careful before booking. We lost the money for our whole-weekend booking, even after asking for a partial refund when we checked out. The property looked sketchy, though it was well lit, and the room was tiny, run down, and dirty. Brown stains covered the walls and the sheets were dirty too. As I was checking out, a man harassed my spouse and me for a cigarette. The owner or worker wouldn't let us into the office, which had a large gated door and window that blocked the view inside. Everything was handled on paper. We took a chance because it was close to the beach, but walked into the room and right back out. If you have children, please be aware. I learned my lesson.

The location was a real plus, right by the water with fishing nearby and bait shops close at hand. The rooms were spacious and very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the cool A/C made it easy to relax. After a long day out, the showers were just right. Staff were friendly and check-in was quick and easy. Great value for the price, and I'd happily visit again.

We'd just checked out, and this motel really came through for us. We were camping at Malaquite Campground when my dog had an allergic reaction or got bitten by something in his eye. I know other people have been frustrated with the rooms, but ours was a decent size, the AC worked great, and the shower pressure was good. I believe the owner helped us by charging only $5 for the pet fee. I really recommend this place. Thank you so much!

The staff were friendly, and the rooms were great for the affordable price. HEB is just two blocks away, and there are good fishing spots nearby too.

The rooms are spacious, the prices are great, and there's a lovely bay view. Staff were friendly, and I love how close this motel is to the beach!
