Chocolate Turtle Bed and Breakfast

The patio and backyard were a highlight, with lovely Sandia mountain views at sunset and birds to watch and hear singing in the morning. Breakfast was filling and delicious, and they even had souvenirs for gifts. The nearby town has quaint shops and restaurants. This was our first stay at Chocolate Turtle, but Keith and Denise were such great hosts, the rooms and shared spaces so nicely decorated, and the location so unbelievable that we can’t wait to come back.

My mom and I had a great week in the comfortable Roadrunner room. Denise and Keith were happy to make vegetarian breakfasts for me. We enjoyed the scenery from the back patio at sunrise and sunset, and took day trips around NM to see lots of sights.

Zorro and Rico added to the peaceful feel, and Keith made an excellent breakfast. Thank you, Keith and Denise, for making our daughter's wedding day so special. The rain was the one thing that didn’t go as hoped, but you both made us feel welcome, and your beautiful B&B was a perfect place to celebrate. It would suit a wedding or a quiet, relaxing stay. We’re very grateful and would highly recommend the Chocolate Turtle.

Keith and Denise were wonderful to talk with over breakfast, especially about the area’s wildlife and the different birds that visit their backyard. They were attentive when I needed something, but also gave me plenty of privacy. Since I had an early departure, they even packed a breakfast to go. This four-room B&B near the heart of Corrales and not far from Albuquerque has spacious, clean rooms, substantial fresh breakfasts, and great Sandia Mountain views from the back patio. It’s a special place, and the owners are amazing. I rarely write reviews, but I felt I had to share how much I enjoyed my stay. Thanks, Keith and Denise!
