Days Inn Corvallis

The staff were nice, but I’m very upset that I spent $600 here and definitely won’t return. I booked a non-smoking room, yet it reeked of old cigarette smoke. I had to ask for a refrigerator and microwave to be brought in on a dolly for some reason. I mainly chose this hotel because breakfast was included, but it turned out to be only a paper bag of snacks. That should be described as not a full breakfast. I’m stuck here for five days, and the bathroom is extremely small with a rusty bathtub. DONT COME HERE!

We were pleasantly surprised by how much bigger the room was than expected. It was also nice to find the usual amenities, bath soap, conditioner, shampoo, microwave, small refrigerator, TV, and so on. A lot of motels and inns have started cutting back on those.

The property is very old and well used, with paint wearing thin. The on-the-go breakfast was a pitiful brown paper bag. Given the room price, I can’t say that was surprising.

I won’t come back. When I checked in, the room hadn’t even been cleaned, and there was no microwave or fridge. You can tell that over half the hotel caters to the homeless. I put up a do not disturb sign, but housekeeping still knocked, and when I didn’t answer, she had the front desk call me. It’s not like housekeeping knows how to do its job anyway, so why bother me?
