Hampton Inn by Hilton Costa Mesa Newport Beach

Once inside, the place was spotless and seemed clearly well cared for by management. I was a little nervous pulling up because it’s next to a mobile home park and off the 55. There’s nice underground parking, and it’s close to Newport Beach, great spots, and the Pacific Ocean. I highly recommend it.

The staff were super friendly, and the room was quiet and clean, with plenty of towels, shampoo, soap, and body wash. Breakfast was a full buffet with fresh-cooked eggs, toast, waffles, cereal, bagels, and all the fixings. There was lots of coffee with different creamers, plus free orange juice. Parking was free too, and the hotel is right in the middle of Costa Mesa, just minutes from the beach. I’d definitely stay again.

We were in the area for a family reunion, and this hotel was a good fit. Our room was spacious and quiet, the beds were comfortable, the lighting was good throughout, and I liked the furniture. The walk-in shower was very nice. There’s delicious coffee available at all hours, a little pantry we used, and other stores within walking distance. We also appreciated the easy walk to St. Joachim for daily Mass, which means a lot to our family. The beach is just 10 minutes away. The hotel was formerly a Holiday Inn Express and has been completely renovated. I know the neighborhood and don’t think there’s a hotel on Newport Blvd that matches its cleanliness, staff professionalism, and price. Check-in and service throughout the stay were great, and parking was good.

For this price, free breakfast and parking are a steal. Newport Beach is nearby, and the neighborhood felt safe. Check-in was easy, and the receptionist went beyond what we expected. He made extra keys and even walked to our rooms to check that they worked.
