The room needs serious updating, and I was afraid I’d leave with bedbugs just from how it looked. The sheets seemed unwashed and were torn. The bathroom was filthy, had no towels, and the toilet was coming up out of the floor. There were roaches, and neither TV nor internet worked. Avoid this place!

My husband and I paid $70 for one night, which wasn’t a bad rate, but the room badly needed updating and was dirty. The bedding was awful, with holes that looked like something had chewed through it, and the pillows were pathetic. We had just one bath towel, and it felt like sandpaper.

The surfaces may have looked clean at a glance, but they were so disgusting that I didn’t want to put food or anything I was using on them. I brought Clorox wipes and used every one, and bought bug spray, but the roaches kept coming. There were roaches in my room from the first day. I asked for a refund and was told there were no refunds. There was hot water only one day during my stay in Counce for a job. The job was expected to last about seven days but was cut short. I’d paid for insurance online and called about it, but the owners denied the policy. I was barely in the room except to sleep and eat while I worked. If I’d had the money, I would have left without using the room, taken the loss, and gone somewhere else. They did replace the towels daily, but that was about it. The room smelled nice when I left, then had a gut-wrenching odor when I came back. Spend a few extra dollars and stay elsewhere. I won’t return, and hope this helps you decide.

We were there almost two weeks, and the rooms were only somewhat clean when we arrived. We had to ask for toilet paper almost every day, and there was no ice available. The bed was made just three times. They never vacuumed the floors, dusting apparently wasn’t necessary, and a dead roach stayed in the lampshade the whole time. There were cigarette butts on the floor too. I wouldn’t stay there again, though it was unfortunately the only place available. Best I can say is we survived.
