The noise made it hard to rest: I could hear conversations through the walls, TVs late at night, doors slamming, and people in the hallway. Then staff started clearing snow from the roof early in the morning. The scraping and thudding went on for quite a while, with no warning, and it kept me from sleeping. The room also had visible mold in several places and a musty smell that seemed like it had been there for a while. That was unacceptable and a serious health concern. Between the cleanliness problems, thin walls, and early noise, this was a very unpleasant stay. I wouldn't recommend it unless they make major improvements.

Amanda gave me a really relaxing massage and took care around my recently broken wrist. The Elevation Spa was clean and had very nice facilities, and being right at the bottom of the lifts was convenient. I'd definitely return next time I'm in Crested Butte.

A proper hotel with clean, roomy rooms and bathrooms, clean carpet, a lobby bar, hot tubs, a SPA, and parking. There's a lot more too. It felt wholesome, family-friendly, and pet-friendly, just right if you're not looking for trouble. Much better than an Air bnb, and I'm definitely coming back.

Starting around 3:45 am, staff were moving around on the roof above my room. It sounded like heavy boots, and the noise and vibration kept going for hours. I could feel the shaking in the room and couldn't get back to sleep, which was especially frustrating with a long travel day ahead. I told the hotel while it was happening and sent evidence, but they barely responded and the activity continued. I was charged about $480 a night at Elevation Hotel & Spa, and the room was on the pet floor even though I wasn't traveling with an animal. It reeked of pet urine so badly that the main living area and kitchen were unusable. At this price, I expected a clean room without strong pet odors, considerate placement for someone without a pet, and quiet overnight hours. They missed on all three. The stay fell far short of what the rate led me to expect, and I won't return. I attached a screenshot of my text conversation and a video of the noise that went on for hours in the middle of the night.

The location works really well for skiing and lessons, and I appreciated having a standard-sized microwave and a fridge that wasn't tiny. The room was clean enough, but very dated, with an old-style TV that can't do video on demand and maybe even a DVD player. Sound carries from the walls, hallway, and music downstairs. Service was just okay and confusing. I asked about charging a particular EV brand and got different answers from different staff. They said there was EV charging on site, but that isn't true. Breakfast information was inconsistent too, before and after check-in.
