The rooms were clean and nice, and the bedding was comfortable. Getting to the lift takes only about a two-minute walk, and the free bus into town comes every 15 minutes, which is really handy. Everyone we dealt with, from the bellman and front desk to maintenance and ski instructors, was friendly and ready to help. Check-in was great too. I'm not sure why anyone would post a negative review. I'd happily stay again. Thanks to the whole team, and Merry Christmas and happy holidays.

We were sent over here when the hot water stopped working at their sister property, The Grand Lodge, and we had our little one with us. We were already stressed, but Reeves here was so welcoming and kind that I'll remember it. Thanks to everyone at this property for treating us so well. When we come back in winter, this is where we'll stay.

In mid July 2025, we held our daughter's wedding and reception in Crested Butte. The Lodge at Mountaineer Square was every bit as beautiful as the wildflowers, and a perfect setting for it. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and their customer service stood out in a time when that's often overlooked. Whether you're here for biking, hiking, dining, or just to relax, we'd highly recommend staying here. We're already looking forward to our next Crested Butte adventure this winter. Dan Terry

The heated garage felt safe, and we were happy with everything else too. Our room was huge, spacious, and very clean. The front desk guy was phenomenal, and the pool and jacuzzi looked clean and well maintained. Great location. We'll definitely come back whenever we're in Created Butte. Keep up the good work, everything felt perfect.

The Lodge has great mountain views, and there are eateries and amenities right on the property, including a pool, hot tub, and exercise room. I even found a plant propagation station at the coffee shop where you could take a cutting home. The town shuttle stop is there too, with buses every 20 minutes for getting to and from shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. Such a wonderful stay.
