The staff at the front desk were a real highlight, so friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to make things easy. The covered indoor parking also made loading and unloading gear much easier in the cold. We stayed at Westwall Lodge in Crested Butte for a long weekend at the end of March, and the ski-in/ski-out access made the trip feel effortless. The lift service was quick, the lines were short, and we could get straight onto the slopes from our room. After skiing, we loved relaxing in the outdoor hot tub. The pool and hot tub area were spotless, with lovely mountain views, and the hotel bar had a good beer selection and creative cocktails in a cozy setting. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a fireplace, cozy couches, very comfortable beds, and strong shower pressure. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. There was no A/C, but opening the windows brought in refreshing mountain air, so that wasn’t a problem. Westwall Lodge is a great pick for families wanting an easy, high-end ski stay with the comforts of home.

For my birthday, my husband and I returned to WestWall Lodge and had another wonderful visit. We got our favorite guest room, with mountain and flower garden views, a walk-out patio, and a fully stocked kitchen. There was even a glass vase for the birthday bouquet gift. It’s a quiet hotel with plenty of space for privacy. We relaxed, walked up to Base Camp for the summer chair lifts and hiking, then went into town to shop and eat. The pool, hot tub, and bar area are lovely too. Jen and the staff welcomed us warmly, and because we’d stayed before, we received a 5% discount. We highly recommend it for a getaway where you feel spoiled and special in a beautiful Colorado setting.

The ski-in/ski-out location was incredible, and the facility was very clean. Alison at the front desk was a huge help and made us feel at home as soon as we checked in. We’ve just wrapped up a weekend here and had a wonderful stay. Can’t wait to visit again.

We’d stayed here before and enjoyed it. The lodge itself is lovely, and the staff are friendly and helpful, but this time we were in the three bedroom Cresta 202 unit and weren’t happy with it. The kitchen wasn’t equipped for cooking, so we had to ask the front desk to find things for us. The coffee pot and garbage can were broken. Some dishes in the cupboard had coffee stains and lipstick on them, the duvet cover in the bunk room was dirty and I had to wash it, and there was mold on the junior suite shower curtain.

Skye, Dan, and the rest of the staff made our stay wonderful. They were incredible and went above and beyond. The lobby felt cozy and homey, the premises were clean and easy to get around, and our room was comfortable with plenty of closet space, plus a washer and dryer. The views were awesome, and the location let us avoid the noisy mountain hubbub. There were many full time residents in the building, and everyone we met was friendly. The bar was closed for covid, but drinks were still available through a window on the side. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay.
