Super 8 Creston

The housekeeping staff were very helpful and took great care of me while I was in the second building setting up the meeting room for people at my company. There's a front desk there, but no one works at it, and no sign tells you to contact the main building's desk if you need help. Once I reached someone at the main building, they were extremely helpful too.

The facility is nice and fairly well kept, but there are things you might not notice at first. Five coworkers and I, staying in different rooms, all have bites from bed bugs. They're common in hotels and very hard to get rid of completely, but be warned.

The staff are friendly and accommodating, and it looks like some renovations may be underway. But the rooms are somewhat stained and worn, and the walls and windows are thin, so there's a lot of outside noise. The TV has automatic sound control and won't get very loud, and its remote is a pain. There are two separate buildings, and I'm in the lower one, though I'm not sure which is better. I'd give it 2.5 stars.

The AC was wonderful, and I liked having HBO available in the room. It was a good stay overall, with nice, clean rooms and a decent continental breakfast. For some reason, there was no milk.
