Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Crestview, FL

I booked for the weekend, and it's only my first morning, but the staff have already shown me why I should avoid this place. I chose it because of the quick highway exit. I'm a bigger guy and will move if I'm in someone's way, but a small woman said, “Excuse me, can you move?” in a way that made it seem like she was disgusted that I was keeping her from doing her job. Completely ridiculous. Then, as I was leaving, an older man asked her for coffee, and she told him to hold on like he was bothering her.

I had a very disappointing experience with the front desk. Staff on both the day and night shifts seemed rude and dismissive and weren't helpful. After I canceled my reservation, I asked for help getting a refund, but no one would help me contact the third-party booking company. They didn't respond to emails or requests for a phone call either. I was also charged more than the original booking price, and my concerns weren't properly addressed. The lobby and exterior looked outdated, so I can only imagine the rooms were too. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The front desk woman was the highlight of our stay. She was absolutely wonderful, kind, and extremely helpful. The rooms were okay. If you want to sit by the pool, bring your own chairs, since they only have two out there and both are broken. It's a decent mid-grade motel if you just need somewhere to sleep and leave.

We found a room with a jacuzzi yesterday morning, just 15 minutes from us, and it was only $100 for the night. After moving two refrigerators, our backs were aching, and this date night put us in a much better mood. There's a dollar store on one side of the parking lot and a Texas Roadhouse on the other. We ordered steak from Roadhouse and brought it back to the room, then picked up some Dr. Teals stuff at the dollar store for the jacuzzi tub. Great date night!
