The staff were PHENOMENAL, every person friendly and helpful. We spent three nights here with our two young elementary aged kids on a family vacation, and it worked out perfectly for us. Breakfast was good and nothing ran out, and nights were quiet and peaceful. Everything in the room worked and was in good shape. Our room was smaller than the same room type at another Holiday Inn Express earlier in our trip, though I understand rooms may differ in a more rural area like Crossville.
8/10
Our family enjoyed the lobby cookies, unlimited coffee, cinnamon rolls, and veggie omelets. We also had a pretty major issue during our stay, which we contacted the hotel about shortly after we got home. I’m grateful for the way they communicated, refunded us, and addressed it. The situation itself wasn’t pleasant, but their customer service went beyond what I’d hoped for. Thank you.
2/10
The hotel canceled my three-night reservation without my input, and the only thing I got was a notification. They kept the cost of one night instead of refunding the full amount, even though they made the cancellation, and now they’re dragging their feet on the refund. I had nothing to do with the cancellation and want my money back!
4/10
Check-in was easy, and the staff greeted us with a smile. After that, though, things went downhill. We had a room with two queen beds, and one had a large spot where it felt like the mattress was missing. Both beds were lumpy, and the pillows were awful. People need decent beds to sleep on.
6/10
The room was clean, but the elevator didn’t work, the water only got lukewarm at best, and the pool was out of service.
