The parking was a problem: the website calls it ample, but the lot is small and hard to manage. The guest book says not to park on the street, yet once five cars are in the lot, that’s where you have to go. While we were there, the pool had dirt on the bottom that wasn’t cleaned. At breakfast, other guests were just as disappointed and upset, though one had paid more for the only fancy bathroom in the house, the one shown on the website. We stayed in Fall of 2016, and the place was awful. I can only make sense of the good reviews if they’re from years ago. It feels like a “Cash Cow” for the owner, who’s milking it for all he can get. The carpet in our room was so unpleasant we didn’t want to walk on it without shoes. The shower control looked like it was from the 20's and didn’t work, and the water pressure was so weak my wife couldn’t wash her hair. The TV in the lounge area was broken, and there was no tea or coffee available during the day or evening. The owner put out small bags of snacks but charged a dollar each, really, with rooms over $200 a night? Don’t stay here. We’re angry, can you tell?

The rooms are small, and the price is steep to begin with. Then they charge a dollar for a little bag of chips. Never again, Syd.
