Holiday Inn Chicago Nw Crystal Lk Conv Ctr by IHG

We were in the area for a family gathering and stayed one night. The large king suite was clean and comfortable, and check-in was quick. The front desk clerks were professional and courteous. As IHG members, we were pleasantly surprised to find a personal note, snacks, and water in the room. We chose the breakfast package and thought it was worth it. It was buffet style, with a chef making made-to-order omelets, which were delicious. The server was attentive, and even the front desk manager came around to ask how our stay was. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Every year we come to Crystal Lake to see family, and we always find the stay comfortable and positive. The rooms have the necessities, they're clean, and the price is right. The staff are welcoming and cordial. We especially enjoy Lynette, the dining area hostess. She goes above and beyond with the food, conversation, and service. She's a real asset to the hotel. Thanks for everything, Lynette!

I'm a Marriot guy, but I book this Holiday Inn when work brings me to the area, even though it's 15 minutes out of my way. The value is great, the beds are COMFY, and the updated property feels spacious yet cozy. My room was in great shape, clean and neat. You can tell the staff take pride in their work. Abi at the front desk treated me and my wife like she'd known us for 20 Years, while staying super professional, even though we'd just met. Silvino the food / bev manger was behind the bar and made us feel right at home. Wonderful person!

We've stayed here several times, but the place is starting to look neglected and not well maintained. The beds are comfortable, though sleep was still difficult and unrestful with a noisy neighboring room and quiet hours that don't start until midnight. The beer tap wasn't working, and breakfast is expensive.
