The balcony was a lovely place to sit and watch the river, and the property is beautiful and perfectly located. I stayed two nights and, though I was nervous because I’d never tried a bed and breakfast before, owner Gaylene made me feel at ease. She’s absolutely amazing, and her cooking made breakfast so good. The room was just the right size. I can’t say enough about this place, and highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

Gaylene was warm and checked in to see how things were going without hovering. Both mornings started with fabulous hot breakfasts: egg and ham soufflé, muffin, fruit, juice and coffee one day, then waffles and chicken the next. The rooms and shared areas were very clean, with sweet decks overlooking the river. It’s a gorgeous area, and we’ll be back for another great stay with Gaylene.

We planned on one night and wound up staying two. Gailene was gracious, made us excellent breakfasts, and kept asking if we needed anything. The place was clean and well cared for. The creekside setting was gorgeous, even in the off season at winter’s end, when most of the trees were still bare. Highly recommend a stay here. Thanks, Gailene!

We keep coming back and plan to continue doing so. Room 5 works especially well for us: there’s a queen bed and a separate loft with two beds that our daughter really enjoys. Gaylene is a sweet host who goes above and beyond, and her little sidekick Riley is the cutest pup around. The place feels cozy, clean, and welcoming, and breakfast is always so good. She even made waffles for my daughter after hearing they’re one of her favorite breakfasts. If you’re after a quiet, relaxing getaway, you won’t regret staying here.

Breakfast was generous and really tasty, and they made my standard poodle feel welcome. My overnight stay was so peaceful, with a beautiful spot along the river and a homey feel. I’ll definitely come back.
