Sheridan House

Our host was gracious and made us delicious breakfasts. We stayed two nights recently and would happily come back. The room was wonderful, and we enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the park across the street. I highly recommend it.

Getting an early check-in at the last minute was such a blessing. Breakfast delivered to the room in the morning was delicious, with eggs, bacon, waffles, fruit, a muffin, and hashbrowns. The room was really comfortable, and the bathroom was beautiful. We absolutely loved our stay at Sheridans and highly recommend it!

The location is perfect, but I've stayed at better bed and breakfasts. There was no staff around when I needed a roll of toilet paper, and I couldn't find anyone to help. The food was sparse and the oatmeal was old. I wouldn't recommend it unless they hire better staff and a better cook.

It's easy to get parking, the room was spacious, and the tub had lots of room to stretch out. The location is close to Milwaukee but outside downtown. The accommodations are lovely, though light sleepers may have a hard time: the smoke detector flashed all night, and we could hear neighbors coming and going and people knocking on their doors. The rooms were clean and very nice, but this place lacks some of the usual bed and breakfast features. There's no shared dining room or sitting room, and breakfast is brought to your room. The breakfast we got was for two. There were two glasses and a small decanter in the room, but no bottled water, including at the drink station, so we had to get water from the bathroom tap.
