There’s a sign at check-in saying service dogs are allowed, but the front desk turned me and my service dog away. Before refusing us a room, the staff member had already made me wait an hour while a room was cleaned. Boooooo!

I ended up canceling after finding a scorpion in the bathroom. Before that, I’d been asking the front desk to have the room vacuumed and cleaned, but the guy suggested I find somewhere else to stay. My husband came over and helped make the room manageable. It was very dirty, with dust and dead insects in every corner. My camera recorded what they called cleaning: they changed the bathroom towel and took out the trash. I have pictures to back this up.

The room was dirty, dusty, moldy, and falling apart, and the front desk service was rude. The staff member was wearing a sweater, shorts, and flip-flops, like they’d just gotten out of bed. We arrived late after a long drive with cranky kids, so everyone just wanted to sleep. In the morning, there was no coffee or breakfast, despite the website advertising free continental breakfast. Manager Alex, the flip-flop guy, said they didn’t have the budget for breakfast, coffee made as requested, repairs, or upgrades. After I complained to corporate about the rate, I was told the price difference was for a larger, more accommodating room, which we hadn’t received. When I went back to tell Alex, there was coffee, Raisin Bran, and Cocoa Puffs on the counter, but no milk. He seemed annoyed, covered his ears, and said he’d refund $25 to shut me up. Wow. I don’t usually complain, but this was too much. I have pictures, and next time I’ll go somewhere else.

The employees were sweet and did their best to help us, but management was rude and showed no accountability, always making excuses for the lack of professionalism. Housekeeping told us there was mold and bed bugs, though they said they were only allowed to do so much. The manager clearly didn’t care. Horrible place, run far away!
