Days Inn By Wyndham Culpeper

We were put in a room in the area being remodeled. It was old, the bed was uncomfortable, and renovation noise woke us at 9am. After we called to complain, management moved us to an empty room farther from the work. That room had been updated and the beds were much more comfortable. I’m just unsure why they didn’t give us that vacant room the night before.

This was my third stay. Two years ago I came twice when it was the comfort Inn, and this year I booked three weeks straight while working nearby. The whole hotel seems to be undergoing a major renovation, and the rooms are clean. I don’t understand the two-star rating, because the staff deserve five stars. Housekeeping, maintenance, the front desk, and the wait staff are the heartbeat of this hotel. They’re always cordial and polite, and go out of their way for customers. Kudos to the GM and everyone at the Days Inn Culpeper for always being accommodating. When customer service keeps deteriorating, it’s a pleasure to stay here. My co-workers from The Hits and I highly recommend it.

A good stop for one night on the way to Shenandoah. The front desk staff were VERY friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had what I needed, including a mini fridge, toiletries, and a modern TV, though I could still smell traces of old cigarette smoke. Breakfast at the adjacent restaurant was good, and the staff there were attentive. The pool looked nice too.

The staff were great, and the place was clean and quiet. Breakfast was fairly decent. The room itself was very basic, with outdated furniture and uncomfortable chairs. I could sort of feel the bed springs. For the rate, I’d stay again, but I’d bring my favorite camping chair. The ones there are only good for firewood.
