We stayed more than one day, and they didn’t clean the room. We went four days without toilet paper and had to buy our own. We shouldn’t have to ask for basic things like room cleaning, toilet paper, or towels. The woman with red hair working in the office was the rudest person I’ve ever met. I definitely shouldn’t have to deal with that kind of attitude at the front desk.

The kitchen rooms are nicer. The regular room was clean and basic, but needed a little repair. Still decent.

The breakfast area didn't seem worth a visit unless you just wanted coffee. Housekeeping never came during my four-day stay, and there were lots of maintenance problems.

The breakfast offering was sparse: six granola bars at a time, very weak coffee, and cereal in Kellogg’s-branded boxes that was actually Malt-O-Meal. Yet checkout rules were enforced aggressively. After paying more than $2K for 30 days, guests were told to leave by 10:59 AM, with pounding on the door and threats of being charged for another full day at 11:01 AM. I saw little regard for health rules, and felt the staff showed no respect for guests, especially children. The room conditions were alarming. I found stains on the sheets and cigarette burns on the comforters, and the black mold appeared to have been painted over. In one room the air smelled so bad I nearly choked and had to move. I started coughing, my eyes burned, and my nose ran throughout the stay. Even after leaving, it took 24 to 48 hours for the symptoms to ease. I later got a skin test for mold, and it came back positive for black mold. There were also bed bugs in every room, as I experienced it. I also witnessed Mary at the front desk screaming at another guest while two sheriff's deputies were on the property. He was trying to pay for another seven days and apologized for oversleeping. He said he had stayed almost a year and had accumulated points for free nights, but Mary wouldn't honor them because his license had expired. She did accept cash when he offered it. He said he'd requested late checkout, but customer service apparently hadn't recorded his request for 12:30 PM, only an hour and a half after the 11 AM checkout time. Mary yelled that she didn't care and wanted him gone. She also told the deputies, spitefully, that his license had been expired for eight years, violating his guest privacy agreement. I was embarrassed for him and asked her if she had to disturb the other guests. She didn't care. When I saw his two children still in diapers, I offered to help however I could. The whole place seems to be run by a family that cares only about money. Mary is an awful person, and I wouldn't give her two cents to tie my shoes. They will face the consequences for treating unsuspecting guests with such disdain, even if it takes 1,000 generations. One of them might come back as black mold, or as a money tree.

The room needed a lot of attention. The toilet wouldn't flush, and the blankets smelled bad and were dirty.
