I’ve been coming here for the nearby pool tournament for five years, and this year the rates went up about 80%. I’d never paid more than around $90 a night for two queen beds. This time it was $148 for one queen and $158 for two, about $200 more after taxes and fees. I posted screenshots comparing the usual prices with the tournament rates, which they hadn’t charged in previous years. It feels like they raised prices to profit from the event. In my reply dated 02/23/2026, I was responding to the hotel’s message below. Their claim is completely false: normal weekend rates for two queens are $90-$119 at most. My screenshots and four years of stays back that up. Please be honest about why the prices rose for this particular weekend instead of giving false information. If management calls me today and offers a compromise, I might change my review. If not, I won’t stay here again or recommend it to pool players, as I have for the last five years.

Joe at the front desk made check-in feel welcoming. We chatted enough that I felt like I’d made a new friend. The hotel and my room were both clean and comfortable, and I have no complaints. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

If you're going to the surgical hospital, it's just about a five-minute walk from here. My room looked nice without feeling flashy or cheap, and it had two queen beds, a mini fridge, a small microwave, and cable TV. The bathroom was nice too, with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided.

The breakfast was wonderful, and the lake maintenance woman was really on top of things. The hotel staff and property were very nice. There’s also a restaurant connected to the hotel, though it isn’t affiliated with it.
