Victoria greeted me when I arrived and walked me through the room options, hotel layout, and breakfast hours and location. I think she mentioned a bar, but I was too tired to follow up. My room was at the back, exceptionally clean and very quiet. There was plenty of parking, and breakfast offered lots of choices. The morning staff were just as charming, and Amanda messaged me when I left to check that all was well. Victoria had also sent a message to make sure everything was okay. The hotel’s easy to find off the main road, and I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

Everything was so clean, and the staff were awesome. The pool and hot tub were great, and breakfast was wonderful. If we’re back in Dalhart, we won’t stay anywhere else.

The landscaping was striking, with unbelievable flowers still in bloom in mid-November despite temperatures near or below freezing a couple of weeks earlier. Breakfast was great too, with plenty of healthy choices and recyclable plates and bowls. After a long drive, Ameris greeted and checked me in with a smile, jokes, friendliness, and helpfulness. This is the first Hampton Inn I’ve visited with a bar and food menu. Vanessa tended the bar and was energetic, accommodating, and friendly, chatting with us and the other patrons. She was a lot like Ameris.

ZOE at the front desk was kind and knew her stuff. She helped me sort out an issue and deserves recognition for being a good hotel hostess. The rooms were exceptionally clean, management was top-tier, and breakfast was really good. You can feel assured they’ll take care of whatever needs come up.
