The property feels secure, with bright lighting outside, and the inside was fresh and clean. I’ve been in Dallas often for work lately, and this Fairfield has become my regular choice. The staff are friendly and quick to help, often checking how they can make the stay better. The General Manager and Guest Services Manager, both named Christopher, are especially professional and courteous. I’d recommend it for a stay outside downtown Dallas.

Our room was clean when we arrived, and the beds were comfortable, but the service left a lot to be desired. During our Saturday to Wednesday stay, only once did anyone come in to make the beds and empty the trash. The room coffee and cups were never replenished. I called Monday afternoon for coffee, but it never came, so I had to go to the desk, then return for cups. They gave me only two for the four of us. By Sunday we were out of body wash, and I had to ask the front desk on Tuesday to refill it. At least there was a bar of soap. Breakfast was another example of staff seeming out of sync. When we checked in Saturday, I was told it ran from 6:30am-9:30am every day. We came down at 9:00am Monday, and a worker was nearly finished clearing everything away. She was very kind and let us take a few things from her cart. This is not the kind of service I’m used to, and I don’t want to go through it again.

A good place to break up a long drive. I got some proper exercise in the nice gym, then could unwind with Netflix and sleep well before getting back on the road. The room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast had a great selection to fuel the next stretch. I’d recommend it for a convenient, comfortable stop.

The room itself was spacious and nice, but the evening staff could have been more courteous. I also expected complimentary iced water or coffee in the lobby, since I thought that was common at Fairfield. During my four-day stay I asked for housekeeping, but nobody came to clean or even take out our trash.

The place felt welcoming and comfortable for a family trip, and everything seemed clean. We had fresh, satisfying breakfast and friendly, helpful service during our stay at Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Dallas East. My family and I had a great time there.
