Comfort Inn Dallas North Love Field Airport

The rooms were comfortable and fine, despite how the hotel photos may make the place look dirty. Breakfast was basic but met expectations. The gym wasn't working during my stay, and the alarm went off frequently, which was annoying and could be frightening. My room wasn't cleaned at all during the stay, so housekeeping needs improvement. The experience was acceptable overall, but several things need work to provide better service.

We booked through Priceline and have been given the runaround. They have tried to reach the hotel about our refund but haven't received a response either, and the manager still hasn't replied. The front desk employee called the manager several times, but got no answer and no response to messages. Several families checked out at the same time as us. We checked in on December 31st and left right away because of the poor service and unsanitary conditions. We were moved three times, and every room was dirty. The first smelled bad and had cigarette burns and hair on the sheets. The second had roaches in the refrigerator and bathroom, plus hair on the sheets. In the third, the sheets still had hair, only the lamps worked because the main lights didn't, and the bathroom floor was dirty.

In less than five minutes in the first room, my wife saw a roach on the ceiling. We went straight to the desk for a refund because we wouldn't stay with roaches and didn't want to risk bringing them home to our children in our belongings. Dee said a manager's approval was needed, and that he had tried to reach the manager but got no answer. Since a refund wasn't guaranteed, we agreed to try another room. He called it an “upgrade” from a king room, but moved us to two queen beds, which made no sense when I'm 6’4. We hoped it would at least be clean, but less than ten minutes later we saw another roach on the TV stand. We left immediately. I still haven't heard from a manager. Dee said the manager's name was Swetha, but no one has followed up. Dee, the front desk employee, had been rude and unprofessional from the moment we checked in. I booked a one-night stay in Dallas for my wife's birthday celebration, and it was a huge disappointment. Roaches were running around everywhere. It's hard to believe staff doesn't know about the infestation, and taking people's money under these conditions is unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Deceptive PICTURES. The beds were broken in two different rooms. I turned over and rolled out of one when it tipped over! There was trash all along the building, and the floors didn't look like they'd been vacuumed in a week. They ask for cash deposits, RED FLAG, and management is never available. There were no face towels, the little towels for washing up, and the AC units in the room and hallway were noisy.
