Fairfield Inn & Suites Dallas Park Central

The hotel looks like it’s being renovated, but everything was very clean during my weekend stay. The staff were friendly, and April at night made sure things were all set at check-in. Nimanchu also checked in with me whenever we crossed paths. Breakfast was good, and I’d stay again.

This has become my go-to place in the Dallas metro area. I’ve stayed repeatedly over the last couple of months, and GM Abhi and Property Leader Jaden make a point of welcoming guests and paying attention to what they need. It’s refreshing to be greeted by name, chat with the Staff, and have my Elite status recognized. The Property is finishing an extensive renovation and feels basically brand-new: streaming TVs, updated bathrooms, comfortable new bedding, and a nice fitness center coming soon. It’s handy for work commutes, with shopping and restaurants everywhere and the Galleria mall close by. Guest laundry takes cards only. The attentive leadership and staff, along with the value and convenience, keep me coming back.

We’re in Dallas often and have stayed at this hotel several times. Even with construction going on, the service hasn’t slipped. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the rooms are comfortable and clean.

The room we ended up with smelled like mold and mildew, and on our last day housekeeping tried to come in without knocking or saying anything. A chair was blocking the door, so she couldn’t get fully inside. We were terrified. Nothing like that has ever happened to us before. There were also lots of small black bugs on the windowsill, and over our four days we had to ask for towels, toilet paper, and tissues because the room was never serviced. The first room they gave us had a damaged door that looked like someone had tried to break in, so we asked to move for safety. The area also felt a bit sketchy. During the stay, the smoke alarms went off, which we think may have been because neighbors were smoking drugs in their rooms. You could smell it down the hallway. After checkout, we realized our son had accidentally left his Nintendo Switch game system in the bed he slept in. We called right away, but were told the phone didn’t work. I messaged through the Marriott app and was told the system hadn’t been found, even though we know it was left in the room. They said there was no manager to speak with, and the housekeeping lead couldn’t speak with us because they spoke Spanish. They assumed I didn’t speak Spanish, but I do. We’re still waiting to hear from management and will never stay here again. Please don’t stay at this location.
